Dinner Time- Pasta can be very heavy and traditional baked ziti can be like a brick in your stomach, so I tried a lighter approach.  My baked ziti is made with diced tomatoes and an olive oil sauce flavored with minced garlic, basil, red pepper flakes, parmesan cheese and black pepper.  When it came time to back the pasta, I covered it with mozzarella cheese and sprinkled it with dried oregano.  
Overall, it was still heavy, but tasted fresh and had a crisp-ness to it that both my wife and I enjoyed.
